STRESS RELEASE THERAPY©

For Artists & Creatives

Our nervous system is the foundation of how we experience life, create, and connect. When it carries held stress or past overwhelm, it can shape our emotions, our body, and even how free we feel in our art.

Trauma Release Therapy® (TRT) offers a supportive way to gently meet what’s been stored in the body—tension, emotion, or protective patterns—and give it space to shift.

What happens in a session?

In TRT, we create an environment where your system feels safe enough to soften. Rather than focusing on “fixing” or analyzing, we work with what is here in the moment—sensations, breath, movement, and the body’s innate rhythms.

We often begin by activating the psoas muscle, one of the first muscles to respond to stress. This can invite the body’s natural tremoring response—a built-in way for the nervous system to discharge activation. Tremors are not forced; they emerge when your body is ready, as a sign that your system is finding pathways back to balance.

Every session is unique, guided by your pace. Together we listen to the subtle signals of your body and follow what feels safe enough to explore. We stay within your capacity, moment by moment.

Why this matters for artists & creatives

When held stress patterns begin to soften, the nervous system can:

  • Restore energy once spent on bracing and holding tension

  • Increase capacity for presence—on stage, in the studio, or in daily life

  • Ease waves of anxiety and overwhelm

  • Open space for emotional flow and authentic expression

  • Build trust in your body as an ally, not an obstacle

This often translates into more freedom in voice, performance, and creativity.

After a session

Every nervous system responds differently. You may notice more space, ease, and connection—or you might feel tired, tender, or more emotionally open for a while. All of these are natural responses as your system integrates.

The invitation is to give yourself permission to notice what arises, without pushing it away or needing to make sense of it right away.

Who can benefit?

TRT can support with:

  • Stress and nervous system overwhelm

  • Fatigue and burnout

  • Sleep challenges

  • Chronic pain and migraines

  • Trauma recovery

  • Anxiety, fear, or restlessness

  • Emotional regulation

  • Reconnecting with the body and felt sense

  • Creative blocks and performance anxiety

A space to listen deeply

TRT is not about doing more—it’s about slowing down enough to let your body show what it has been holding. In this space, you practice trusting the wisdom of your nervous system, allowing protective patterns to soften, and reconnecting with your creative essence.

For artists, this work is not only about healing—it’s about reclaiming your capacity to create, perform, and live from a place of presence and aliveness.

INVESTMENT

Growth takes time, presence, and space to unfold.
That’s why SRT is offered as a three-session journey, a pace that honors the nervous system and supports real integration.

There is no quick fix when it comes to the body.
Healing happens in layers, and sustainable change emerges when we move slowly, with curiosity and care.

Across these sessions, we work with the body’s natural pace:
building safety, expanding capacity, and allowing release to happen in a way that feels steady and sustainable
