A Nervous System Moment for Creatives: For the days you feel disconnected from your creativity

Hi community,

If today feels a bit tense or all over the place, that’s normal. Mondays wake up our system before we even get out of bed.

Some days the creativity is loud and alive.
Some days it hides in the corners.
Both are normal.

Your creative expression is tied to your state, not your worth.

Here’s a small practice for the weeks when you feel “off”:

The Orientation Flow (30 seconds)

Turn your head slowly to the left.
Pause. Let your eyes land somewhere that feels pleasant or neutral.
Turn slowly to the right.
Pause.
Let your breath follow your gaze.

Orientation lifts you out of collapse, can help with anxiety, and brings your body into a place where expression feels possible again.

A reflection for this week:
What kind of support does your creative self need to feel safe enough to show up?

With love,

Daya
